Fog sculpture...

03/04/19 - In the rear section of the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, between the many sculptures, there’s an ephemeral artwork that only “appears” during certain hours and for a special time. Japanese artist Fujiko Nakaya (1933) is its creator and the first artist to employ fog as a material.
Although the ephemeral nature of "F.O.G." shows a certain affinity with Land Art, the artwork needs to be experienced, which makes it unique in the history of the Arts.
The piece uses a high pressure engine which specially generates the fog.
