03/07/19 - Using iron bars that he cuts and welds, David López Mastrángelo (Argentina, 1983) creates architectonic blueprints that he places vertically, like an engineering design with a geometrical aesthetic, that our eyes recognize easily.

This lifeless mater gives place, thus, to a story we invent as we see the artworks. If the lattice is large,  we imagine an entire city, and if it's small, we picture an intimate space.

However, the repetition, which at first amazes us, is then translated into uneasiness. We feel there's a compulsion in the artist which he can not contain. The exhibition becomes then a bit oppressive (horror vacui).
