21/08/18 - If there's a temple for contemporary art, that's the Palais de Tokyo. Visiting it is always a moving experience, where all our senses are activated. One of the exhibitions going on now is “Ring, Sing and Drink for Trespassing”, by French artist Laure Prouvost, who was also chosen to represent her country in the next Venice Biennial.
The exhibition is centered around the very comic fountain made of resin breasts.
We will Feed You Big Time, by Laura Prouvost (2018)
Material: water, resin, paint, wood

In line with the present times, where the most natural acts (such as breastfeeding) are no longer kept hidden, Prouvost delivers her message through associations between images and sense. The installation is surrounded by an untidy garden, as if Nature had won over men's effort to contain it: the land of waste or a garden suffering from global warming (as the signs read).
The space is completed with anthropomorphic figures, with screens or mirrors as faces, performing different daily chores or just resting.

Metal Yoga Man – toghether we are reflective, by Laura Prouvost (2018)
Material: metal, paint, flat screen

Prouvost explores hidden universes and immerses us in them through distortions that we perfectly understand. She proposes a dadaist, sensual, feminist and catastrophic language, that makes us reflect on the way we see the reality that surrounds us.
