Sculptures in the garden...

In the past 10 years, Sotheby’s has been organising a sculpture exhibition in the gardens of the castle of Chatsworth, in Derbyshire, private property of the Dukes of Devonshire. The exhibition is known as "Beyond Limits" and, in this opportunity, offers for auction pieces by British artists from 1950 to 2015. Among the 30 sculptures, there are works by artists of the 20th Century, such as Henry Moore and Anthony Caro, next to pieces by Contemporary artists of the likes of Sarah Lucas, Marc Quinn, Damien Hirst and the young Conrad Shawcross, known for developing an abstract sculptural language linked to complex scientific theories.
The sculptures are distributed all over the garden and on certain rooms of the castle. Those unable to take a personal visit, can see them on a special video posted on Sotheby's web-site...
