A bit of Contemporary Art...
6:29 p.m.
The MNBA has a new space, near the Temporary Exhibition's Pavilion, which acts as café and reading-room. Its walls are decorated with two site-specific contemporary art-works. This means that they were made specially for this room.
The farthest one to the entrance was made by artist Mariano Ferrante (born in 1974), who lives and works in Buenos Aires. It's a mural intervention, belonging to his series of "Construcciones dinámicas". It's an oil painting, simple yet moving.

On the left wall hangs Daniel Joglar's work (born in Mar del Plata in 1966, but now lives and works in Buenos Aires). The artist used the "passe-partout" technique in different colours, placing them in a meticulous order.
In both artworks, colour produce a rhythm that catches the viewer as soon as he enters the room.
