Invading the public space...

12:00 a.m.

12/09/19 - The entrance terrace of PROA in Buenos Aires is currently displaying Whirligig by Dan Graham (USA, 1942). The glass and steel structure is much alike to other installations the artist presented at MoMA, Münster and Kassel (all belonging to the series Pavillions). In this case the polished surfaces are not so reflecting as the others, since the intention of Whirligig is that visitors  live the experience of walking through it.
The circular structure feels like a maze and, for an instant, we pretend to be children in a playground.
