In finito, by Carlos Quintana...

7:00 p.m.

In very rare occasions the work of an artist differs so radically to those of his contemporaries. Carlos Quintana (Cuba, 1966) is a true example, because his works have nothing to do with that of other artists of today, producing truly original works.
The exhibition he is presenting in Venice is called “In Finito”and we see there a posexpressionist Quintana, with huge canvases and color blocks, where he metamorphoses his elaborated symbolism with our daily universe. His is an enigmatic work, oneiric and even esoteric, which present a man uneasy with his own circumstances.
