Kiki Smith...

26/04/19 - As the daughter of sculptor Tony Smith (USA 1912-1980), Kiki (USA, 1954) surely had an unorthodox childhood. Her father had a fascination towards death and she confessed that in front of their house they had tombstones with their names. So it comes as no surprise that Kiki Smith's works have always had complicated narratives, although they don't present the abstract and minimalists forms of his father's.
The Pace Gallery in New York is currently presenting "Murmur", a series of Kiki's unknown artworks.
