28/03/19 - Crane Kalman Gallery was getting ready for Frieze Masters in London, that's why it was gathering artworks of the 20th century. On the floor of the gallery, a U$S 2.2 M Lucio Fontana awaited to be catalogued...
In the meantime, an exhibition of the works of Nicholas Jones (England, 1965) hanged in the walls of the small gallery. "Arctic Light" displays a series of hyperrealistic paintings, enhancing the optical light phenomenons that happen in the Arctic's sky.
We see a dozen of abstract landscapes in which we can make out lakes and mountains, although simplicity always prevails, accentuated by the use of color and light.
