01/06/18 - "Moon River" was created by Xavier Corberó with stones he collected himself and a marble sphere, so thin it's almost transparent. The piece is located in such a position that the light coming from the window goes through it, making it look like a constant full moon.
This sculptured with grouped natural elements pretends, according to the artist, to open the door of our imagination.
Xavier Corberó was born in Barcelona in 1935 and died in April 2017, little after seeing "Moon River" placed in a Parisian hotel.
