Madoz's particular world...

11:21 a.m.

Spanish photographer Chema Madoz is one of the artists taking part in “La mirada en el otro”, the temporary exhibition now on at the MNBA. Definitely a peculiar artist who plays with the absurd, creating an imaginary combination of daily life objects.
It is the case of one of the photos at the exhibit: the glove-purse. It's not useful for storing coins, nor can it be used as a glove. Two elements, so popular and familiar, however when mixed, they result incomprehensible and utterly weird.

Here, a pot with a barbed-wired cactus: another senseless provocation.
