Imaginary Harvest of Hazelnut...

16/10/24 - Visual artist Cyril Lancelin installed her Imaginary Harvest of Hazelnut on the top floor of Maison Diptyque in London. It is an immersive sculpture that plays with the themes most dear to the artist: the combination of shapes and textures, the immersion of the visitor and the repetition of patterns.
Inspired by the fragrance Noisetier from the French brand Diptyque, Imaginary Harvest of Hazelnut has its roots in the memory of a walk along the roads of the south of France. But it also expresses the joy of abundance as a symbol of a natural wealth that we can still take advantage of, with these hundreds of hazelnuts next to each other (in reality there are not that many hazelnuts, the mirrors on the walls cause the infinite effect).
