May 5th, 2021 - Steve Cross, Lucy Lucy, RONE and Elle are four artists who live and work in Melbourne, Australia. They also have in common that they produce huge murals in the streets of their city, but now they can be enjoyed at the entrance of the Australian Embassy in Buenos Aires.

The record of their original works is exhibited in large photographic reproductions on the fences of the entrance of the consulate, an accessible space for those of us who move around the neighborhood of Belgrano. And if the printed size is not enough to stop the distracted passer-by, the images are, with their exact tension between beauty and decadence.

A sign tells us that almost all of them started painting illegal graffiti, but today they are a clear references of the urban reality, an art that informs us of what’s happening in the streets.

The only reference in each image is the Instagram account of each of the artists. There are no titles or measurements or the location of the murals, as if we were forced to search for them by ourselves, since it turns out that this is an expression that does not need to be cataloged.
