11/02/19 - Those artist working in close relationship with science and nature have found a new exhibition venue in the MUNTREF Centro de Arte y Naturaleza.
Located at the former café El Águila, in what used to be Buenos Aires' Zoo (now an Ecopark), several galleries are distributed in the two floors of the building. In one of those spaces, Peruvian artist Claudia Coca (1970) is presenting a composition made with three pieces. At first sight we see a fascinating bird, escorted by two trees. But then we realize the bird is in fact one of the gargoyles in the roof of the building. It's not easy to identify the trees portrayed by the artist, but we can guess they belong to the landscape of the former zoo. Claudia Coca has been able to blend with the space surrounding the galleries where "No digas que no se atrapar el viento" is being displayed and that's because she is the winner of the scholarship Residencia de Arte, MUNTREF Centro de Arte y Naturaleza.
