Leandro Erlich's Ball Game...

12:33 p.m.

22/10/18 - Argentine Conceptual artist Leandro Erlich was commissioned a large scale artwork for the opening of the Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires. Erlich wanted to reflect the spirit of excellence, respect and, above all, friendship that represent the Games and to do so, he created a series of monumental balls used in different olympic sports. But the most interesting part was that the balls arrived rolling to the exhibition destination (Buenos Aires' Planetarium's square), thanks to the coordinated team work of a group of performers, thus embodying the moto of the Games ("feel the future").
Erlich, known worldwide for his talent to play with our perception, was there to present his "Ball Game" and encouraged the crowd to experience the rolling of the balls, in a game of imagination and humor.
