This year, the MNBA has incorporated 130 artworks seeking to fill some gaps in the Argentine Art collection. Among those pieces it's one of the first works by Graciela Hasper (Buenos Aires, 1966): an abstract painting from 1996.

The same happened in France with Paris' Musée d’Art Moderne, which acquired the greatest video installation by Scotch artist Douglas Gordon. It's made of 101 monitors presenting 87 videos and its called "Pretty much every film and video work from about 1992 until now".

This installation has been growing for 15 years, as a result of an encyclopaedic work by the artist. The subjects on the screens have much to do with innocence, guilt, the good and evil, and, of course, death... Crucial and fundamental situations that torment humanity.

Many of the TV sets have headphones, others are to be enjoyed in silence and then there's those showing performances by Gordon.
