Below zero...
6:38 p.m.05/21/24 - Undelivered Message (2016), the bronze sculpture by French artist Camille Henrot (Belgium, 1978), located in an outdoor garden, challenged the winter season of Gstaad, in Switzerland. Slightly higher than human scale, it remained without consequences for its material in the middle of this snowy landscape and with temperatures that always hovered around below zero.
Undelivered Message, together with Derelitta and No Message are part of the "Monday" series, where the artist explores how we see this day of the week, when different intellectual and emotional states debate each other. However, the piece, which is torn between the figurative and the abstract, exudes melancholy.
