04/10/21 - With an extensive group of foreign artists, PROA presents La Suite: from a musical piece, different climates are spun in four rooms that play with the sensory. For example, at the entrance, Peter Kogler's site-specific causes visual vertigo. In the first room, Vincent Ganivet leaves us speechless with his Roue, a wheel made up of a series of concrete blocks that, in challenging balance, are held together without any adhesive.

In the next room, the body, whether of the artists themselves or of another subject, absent or present, is represented on different media. An empty tribune, a frenzied dance or photographs of a dark mind occupy the maze-like space through which the visitor experiences anguish, sadness or admiration.

The following rooms bring a moment of stillness, as calmness and meditation are enhanced through relaxing sounds and silent figures. In turn, they send us a message about nature and ecosystems in danger

This exhibition, conceived for the year of the pandemic, had to respond to current circumstances, therefore the choice of works was according to those projects that could be adapted to the venue, always with the consent of the artists.
