Every year, one of the corners of the most traditional park in New York displays a sculpture. This year the honor was granted to artistMark Manders(Netherlands, 1968) and his tilted head, placed directly on the sidewalk. The face looks serene, asleep, and the artist’s gesture can be appreciated in the material used. But it does not look like a finished work. In fact the rear part seems liked abandoned in the making. It’s all left to our imagination...
