Barcú...

12/11/18 - In the capital city of Colombia, in the historic neighborhood of La Candelaria, a very different art fair was held. Known as Barcú, a group of galleries were summoned to display a variety of Latin American artists in very uncommon places: antique houses which opened their rooms to house the artworks.
Held simultaneously with ArtBo, Barcú takes over the entire neighborhood and visitors are invited to  come in and out of the 300 year-old houses, not only to enjoy the works, but also to feel how life was in that special place of Bogotá.
Although this fair specializes in emerging artists, some well-known examples of Modern and Contemporary Art, such as Miler Lagos and Fernando Botero, are also part of the offering.
