- In the book "El Viaje Imaginario de Kasimir Malevich", with photos by Matilde Marín and tests by José Burucúa, the basic suprematists shapes are discovered in black and white images. The artist pretends to demonstrate that geometry is present in every moment of our lives.
- Auction house Sotheby’s, in New York, sold "Mystic Suprematism (Black Cross on Red Oval)", by Malevich, last November, for almost 38 million dollars. It belonged to the heirs of the artist and was bought by an anonymous collector.
