El Greco at the MNBA...

To celebrate the 400th Anniversary El Greco's death (1541-1614), the MNBA presents the tribute-exhibition "El Greco y la pintura de lo imposible. 400 años después".
As highlights, the painting Jesús en el huerto de los olivos, which belongs to MNBA's permanent collection is on display together with two other works by this particular artist. The first one is part of the Museo Nacional de Arte Decorativo and the other was sent as a loan by the Museo del Greco in Toledo.
