Fabrics on the runway...

As a new season arrives, Fashion Weeks around the world offer always the change to, once again, make a connection between fashion and art. In many cases, designers seek inspiration in certain artists and reproduce the actual works on their clothes. Others, instead, are more subtle in their approach, but all the same, easy to figure out. In one way or the other, it's hard to separate Fashion from Art.

Miuccia Prada, Italian designer and Art llover, took a step further. She teamed up with muralists Miles “El Mac” Gregor, Mesa, Gabriel Specter and Stinkfish to give shape to her collection. In addition, the artists were asked to paint the walls of tha halls of Via Fogazzaro in Milano, where the runway show took place.
It was a totally innovative project, because the paintings were actually there to be appreciated and also "walking" on the runway. A never-before-seen joint venture.
